Apple Releases iOS 8.0.2 to Fix Multiple Bugs and Glitches
Apple’s previous botched minor software update has left many people without proper cellular connection. Fortunately, the company quickly rolls out a new update to correct the bugs. iOS 8.0.2 update can now be installed to various devices, either on the device itself or through iTunes. The software should be useful for iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus users who have previously installed the iOS 8.0.1 update. Apple has apologized for the inconvenience that’s caused by the faulty update.
Not only losing cellphone service, users also reported that have issues with the Touch ID feature. It is considered as an important security feature that prevents unauthorized users without approved fingerprint to gain access. Apple has removed the iOS 8.0.1 update quickly and as an alternative, it also offers methods to downgrade the affected phone to the original iOS 8.0 update.
The new iOS 8.02 is supposed to fix issues related to 3rd party keyboards, Healthkit, ringtones, photo access and others. This is Apple’s attempt to salvage the uncharacteristically bad week that has affected its stock price. Many have already called this the iOS8gate and we already have reports about the “bendgate”, because some iPhone 6 units seem to bend a bit too easily.
