HTC MyTouch 4G Slide Review

HTC MyTouch 4G SlideTimes are a bit rough for QWERTY smartphones fans as top-dog performers never seem to have physical keyboard. Powerful QWERTY handsets are few and far between. The MyTouch 4G looks like the original MyTouch 4G, with very well-built design; which seem to be manufactured with tight tolerance.

The 3.7” WVGA display is sufficiently spacious for a slider and it works well outdoors. While color representations look noticeably paler compared to Super-AMOLED displays, its still have great contrast and details. There’s an 8Mp rear camera and dual LED flash around the back.

Like on other HTC smartphones, the camera protrudes slightly with a small lip to prevent the glass from resting on any surface. The back cover is covered with excellent soft touch coating and removal is easy. The 1.2GHz Snapdragon MSM8660 dual-core processor and 768MB of RAM are adequate for most tasks. The horizontal sliding QWERTY keyboard is obviously the star of the show, which comes with perfectly-spaced chiclet keys.
