Lenovo Unveils the Low-Cost K3 Music Lemon
Chinese smartphone manufacturers are trying to outdo one another and Lenovo’s new entry-level model could be designed to compete against Xiaomi popular Redmi series. At only CNY 599 or about $97, the K3 Music Lemon delivers rather attractive specs for the price. It runs the relatively new Android 4.4 KitKat and there’s no word whether Lenovo will release a Lollipop update for the phone.
Overall, the K3 Lemon Music seems to have a rather more appealing specs sheet than the Xiaomi Redmi 1S. It is equipped with 5-inch 720p display with IPS panel. There are also 2Mp front-facing camera, 8Mp rear-facing camera, 4G LTE connectivity, 16GB of onboard storage and 1GB of RAM. The 7.9mm thick device has a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor with 64-bit functionality and 2300mAh battery. The phone officially arrives with yellow chassis and this could have a connection with the name.
It is said that the K3 Music Lemon will be available initially online and it is currently available for Chinese consumers through JD, a major online retailer in the country. With the above specs, the K3 Music Lemon should worth the price.
