More Details on Sony Xperia Z2 Are Leaked
The direct successor of Sony Xperia Z1 has been spotted once again and it is being developed for a release sometime in 2014. The Sony Xperia Z2 “Avatar” will be equipped with 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor, 5.2-inch high resolution 1080p IGZO display, 3GB of RAM and Android 4.4 Kit Kat.
It may also include a fast-charging feature that allows users to fill the 3200mAh battery in just one hour. There will be a 20.7Mp camera sensor on the back with 4k video recording support. The Japanese company may not be leading the Android ecosystem, but it continues to impress consumers with powerful devices.
Sources told us that the Xperia Z2 will have similar design with the current Xperia Z1. The button layout will be similar, but it is not known whether the external camera will be located at the same place. The camera lens will be positioned at the upper left area and the flash lens could be at the upper right.
Sony hasn’t confirmed anything, so even if the leaked details of the design is valid, it could be used only on prototype and the final device released in the UK may look quite different. Sony could easily modify the chassis, since the Xperia Z2 is still in the development stage.
