Oppo Releases ColorOS 2.0 for Find 7 and Find 7a
The Android 5.0 Lollipop will be soon widely distributed in the market, but it doesn’t mean that devices with Android 4.4 are no longer usable. Oppo has released the new ColorOS 2.0, which is based on the KitKat Android 4.4. The software will be available through direct download, not through OTA update.
To perform this, we need to get the update package from official sources and put the file in the root directory. The new update can be applied while the device in recovery mode. The update is nearly 1GB in size, so it will take a relatively short time to download and install. Compatible devices are Oppo Find 7 and Find 7a. Here are some new enhancements provided by ColorOS 2.0:
- Global Gaussian Blur Effect: It applies a system-wide Gaussian blue effect and this can make the entire system appears more consisted and beautiful in all parts of the interface.
- Refined UI Design: The UI design looks quite similar to the ColorOS 1.0, but it has more minimalistic design and redundant elements are removed.
- System Wide Animation: New animations make ColorOS 2.0 a visually more energetic platform, with many parts of the interface comes alive. Standard operations seem so fluid and natural.
