LG G2 Mini May Arrive on February 24
If there is still any doubt about the possibility of LG developing the G2 Mini, it is finally gone. A teaser image of the device has been released recently and it appeared on LG’s official Facebook page. So, we can be quite sure that the phone isn’t an elaborate fake. The image comes with the “Experience the Mini” tagline, which unequivocally states the type of phone we should be getting. It also appears that the G2 Mini will arrive on February 24.
This could mean that the phone is indeed to be unveiled at MWC 2014. Right now, we can’t be entirely sure whether the compact device will closely resemble the full-fledged LG G2. But if recent rumors are to be trusted, the phone could have a 4.7-inch display. So, the phone will not be too small after all.
An FCC documentation already gave us some information about the physical dimension of LG G2 Mini. We heard that the phone could sport a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 quad-core SoC and 2GB of RAM. However, this claim hasn’t yet been supported by solid evidences. Whatever happen, LG will surely take its new mini device for a spin in the upcoming event and this could be something we can be excited about.
